Norway researchers have discovered an association between sleep problems and fibromyalgia in women. Fibromyalgia is a chronic musculoskeletal pain that affects more than 5 million people over 18 in the United Stated. They found that there is a strong connection between sleep problems and Fibromyalgia and that when a women has sleep problems she is more likely to get Fibromyalgia. This may be the reason why Fibromyalgia is more common in middle aged woman than in young women. I found it interesting that sleep can effect your muscles.
